If the eden project does something, it does it in an extraordinary way, and the Edge will be extraordinary. Eden has risen to be something of truly international note in a short period of time from what was essentially a hole the ground, to mark and set a trend in a positive way of doing things. The eden project became everything the Millennium Dome never could, and the eden domes are the Millennium domes that will stand the test of time.

To make it clear to others who cannot make the link to Cornwall, or who haven’t been. Eden looks and helps far beyond its south west location. For example Eden has been very good indeed to Landlife in far away Liverpool. In terms of partnership we have found no fairer nor a more generous partner anywhere, allowing Landlife to use the eden stage,
to our advantage, whenever we have asked. It is a partnership we are proud of. Linking community projects in Cornwall to those in the north west, and magnifying in turn the significance of this work. It is about creating ripple effects that resound far beyond its boundaries.

The Edge is not just a building, it represents a launching platform, that shouts loudly “what
next?” More importantly eden takes people to the solutions to really make a difference. Eden, never rests on its laurels, and looks to take up the bigger battles that others shy from.

I for one wants to see what happens next. Support the Edge.

Richard Scott. Landlife, Liverpool
