Hello, my name is Arwen Folkes and I am a North Cornwall District Councillor.
I have keenly watched The Eden project grow from it's infancy and am very proud to have a world-class attraction on our doorstep.
My family and I are regular visitors and my two young sons are absolutely mad about the "eco-domes" as they call them.
Cornwall is an area of the UK that is famous for a strong sense of community and an energy that resonates from coast to coast.
Creative thinking and courageous action are no strangers to Cornwall. The Edge is all about inspiring and illustrating how communities can take charge of their own destinies and in many ways Eden itself has helped Cornwall to take charge of its own future, that's why it's so apt that the Edge is based here.
I will be voting in every way I can and I hope that all those who believe in Eden and it's ethos will be doing the same. Good Luck Eden!!
